We regret to inform you that Eric Tyler, museum stalwart and a man whose touch and experience contributed to all aspects of the museum, passed away on February 15th.

Eric worked on a large number of projects, and brought his considerable experience and expertise, infused with a superb sense of humour, to every area of the museum.

Without his comittment and perserverance, many items such as the Marmon Herrington would still be a quiet rusting heap in a museum corner.

Eric Tyler was a much respected man, and will be missed by all who knew him.
